Nigerian Highland Arabica · Est. Origin Direct
Direct from the highlands of Nigeria. Full traceability. Specialty-grade quality.
About Kofi Origin
Kofi Origin is a Nigerian export house built for the specialty market. We work directly with smallholder farmers across Nigeria's highlands — growers whose Arabica has, for decades, quietly disappeared into anonymous commodity channels.
Our work is to keep those lots intact: identified by farm, processed with care, and graded to specialty standard. The result is a coffee that few roasters outside Nigeria have ever cupped, and a supply chain buyers can stand behind publicly.
We ship modest volumes with high consistency, and we would rather refuse a lot than dilute one.

The Cup
Cupped and calibrated against SCA protocol before every export approval.
Jasmine and orange blossom lift from the cup before the first sip — the signature of our highland lots.
A structured, juicy acidity reminiscent of mandarin and bergamot, balanced rather than sharp.
Slow maturation at altitude develops a rounded sweetness of raw honey and ripe stone fruit.
A long, transparent finish with no muddiness — engineered for filter and single-origin espresso.
Why Kofi Origin
Distinct from Ethiopia and Kenya. Nigerian highland Arabica offers your menu a genuinely rare origin story that competitors cannot source.
Every lot is documented from the smallholder plot through processing, grading and container loading. Full documentation supplied with each shipment.
We export directly, with no intermediary layers. Roasters receive specialty-grade quality at competitive, transparent landed cost.
How We Work

We partner directly with smallholder growers cultivating Arabica between 1,200 and 1,600 metres across Nigeria's Mambilla and Obudu highlands.
Selective hand-picking, controlled fermentation and raised-bed drying, followed by density sorting and cupping to specialty grade.
Grainpro-lined bags, documented lots and coordinated logistics from Lagos to your warehouse, with sample approval before every shipment.
Roaster Feedback
Verified buyers“The Mambilla washed lot gave our filter menu something genuinely new. Clean, floral, and consistent across two containers.”
“Documentation was the deciding factor. Lot codes, cupping sheets and moisture data arrived before we even asked.”
“A rare origin that holds up on the table. Our customers ask about Nigeria now — that never used to happen.”
Complimentary Samples
We offer free sample packs (100–200g) to serious specialty buyers.
